What to Expect During a Sound Bath Experience
General
A sound bath is a guided experience where participants rest comfortably while listening to calming sounds and vibrations created with instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, drums, or other therapeutic instruments.
This 60-minute sound bath experience is designed to offer space to slow down, soften the pace of the day, and give your nervous system an opportunity to rest in a calming and supportive environment.
Check-in starts 20-minutes prior to our session start time to give you time to arrive and get set up. Please plan accordingly as late entries are not permitted.
During the session, guests will spend most of the experience resting comfortably on their yoga mat or blanket while immersed in sound. Some people meditate, some rest deeply, and others simply take the time to slow down and be present. There is no “right” way to experience a sound bath. No prior experience with meditation or sound baths is needed.
Everyone has their own preferences for comfort, but most guests bring:
Yoga mat
Blanket
Pillow or bolster
Optional items may include:
Eye mask
Journal
Water
Cozy layers
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to fully relax and settle into the session.
There is street parking available, as well as a small parking lot located to the left of the building.
We invite you to arrive with enough time to settle in before we begin. To support a restful experience for everyone attending, doors will lock 5 minutes after the session starts to minimize interruptions once the experience begins.
Late entry will not be permitted.
Each session at Stillwater Sound Healing is intentionally limited to create a calm and supportive experience for everyone attending. Because of the limited nature of these offerings, all bookings are non-refundable.
No-shows and missed sessions are not eligible for credits and transfers.
Maintaining a peaceful environment is important to us. Please keep in mind that some sessions may take place in shared, outdoor or public spaces, and occasional sounds outside of our control may naturally occur as part of the experience.
Thank you for honoring the time, preparation, and care that goes into creating this experience.
